At the Drug Rehabilitation Florida River Source Centers our therapist choose from a large variety of traditional and holistic modalities in order to create a customized treatment program for you. The following is a list of the treatments we are capable of providing you:

Detox:
Is the process of cleansing drugs or alcohol from the body. Depending on your situation, the detox process can take 3 to 10 days to complete. Our physicians are skilled at safely facilitating the detox process from all types of drugs and alcohol. And all staff members are trained to on how to create as much comfort as possible for you during your detox period.
Clients who are unable to participate in the full 30 – 90 day residential rehabilitation program can try our 5 or 10 day detox program.
5 Day Detox – $2,500. ( regular price: $5000)
10 Day Detox – $4,500, (regular price: $9,000)
Individual Counseling:
Professional guidance from a Licensed Independent Substance Abuse Counselors (LISAC). Your personal LISAC counselor will help you tremendously in your recovery process. In confidential one-on-one sessions they will help you to identify the core triggers for your addiction, help you to understand yourself, behaviors, feelings, and relationships. In your sessions you will learn to identify your personal strengths and develop ways to live life more fully. Many clients find it comforting to learn that they can receive counseling from a LISAC counselor who can empathize with them because they themselves have successfully recovered from active addiction.
During your session with your Drug Rehabilitation Florida River Source Counselors you might learn that there are other issues you need help with that exacerbated your drug or drinking problem. Our counselors can help you with many issues, including:
- Managing anxiety
- Coping with and reducing stress
- Adjusting to loss (death, relationships, job)
- Increasing self-understanding

Group Counseling:
Is when a small group of people gather to discuss a similar issue that they all have in common. Counselors, Life Coaches, therapist, and guest speakers act as group facilitators during group counseling. Dealing with addiction can leave you with a sense of isolation, feeling like you are alone with your problems. Group counseling counteracts this isolation by assembling people with similar issues to enforce that difficulties are not singular to one person. Hearing other people’s perspectives, and situations regarding their battle with addiction can be comforting, insightful, and encouraging. There are many topics discussed during group counseling sessions, including:

Family Counseling:
Family members can play an important role in your successful recovery. Our therapists are experienced in conducting Family Counseling sessions to help you and your family address the difficult issues surrounding addiction.
Aftercare:
In order to graduate the program, you are required to co-create an aftercare plan with your LISAC counselor. After graduation counselors will contact you periodically to see if you are following your after-care plan. The River Source continues to support you on your road to recovery by giving you access to the Naturopathic clinic, facilitating sobriety checks, extending open invitations to group meetings, and periodic group counseling sessions for up to one year.
Life Coaching:
Is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Our Certified Life Coaches compliment the LISAC counseling sessions by conducting individual and group activities that empower you to improve your life. Through engaging activities you will learn to clarify issues in your life, create a plan of action, and complete the actions required to create the change you are seeking. Life Coaches also help you by holding you accountable to fulfilling the goals you set for yourself. Sometimes the only thing lacking in our commitment to ourselves, the discipline that can be learned by knowing that someone cares about whether or not you succeed.
Nutrition Therapy:
We fortify and support your bodies natural healing responses with daily doses of high quality nutrition. Your breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks at the River Source are balanced, delicious, nutritious, and Dietitian approved. Everyday we give you morning and evening vitamin packs, and our Naturopathic physicians give nutritional IV therapy as well. We also have a Nutritionist that educates you on how to prepare healthy meals for a low cost so when you leave the River Source you will know how to continue to feed your body right. Eating right is the foundation to a healthy mind, body, and spirit.
Sauna Detox:
Is done inside of the . Heating of the tissues enhances metabolic processes increasing the bodies temperature which is beneficial to you in a number of ways.
- Viruses, tumors and toxin-laden cells tolerate heat poorly because they are weaker than normal cells.
- Enhance metabolism and helps to kill germs
- Oxygenate the tissues.
- Open the nasal passages and assist the sinuses to drain.
- Restores skin elimination so toxic chemicals and metals can be removed.
Acupuncture:
Is the procedure of inserting and manipulating needles into various points on the body to relieve pain or for therapeutic purposes.
Back Adjustments:
Chiropractic back adjustments correct the spinal subluxations detected during the examination. The doctor “unlocks” the spine from its improper position freeing the bones to align themselves correctly.
Fitness:
Every week day we take an outing to the gym or go on a nature hike. Cardio, endurance, strength training, nature hikes, all of these activities help you to rebuild your physical and mental wellness.
Constitutional Hydrotherapy:
Involves the use of water for pain-relief and inducing a state of relaxation. It can improve recovery from both acute and chronic illness by stimulating the body’s natural ability to heal itself. How is this achieved? When hot and cold water compresses to the torso and abdomen are alternated, blood circulation is increased. Enhanced circulation improves the immune function, facilitates detoxification, helps improve sleep, and increases energy levels.
Morning Yoga Classes:
Every week day a certified yoga instructor leads the group in a gentle yoga to help increase your strength, flexibility, focus, breathing capacity and more.
Therapeutic Messages:
Is the manipulation of muscle and connective tissue to enhance the function and promote relaxation and well-being. Our Certified Massage Therapist tailors your massage to your needs and comfort preferences.
Wellness visits with a Licensed MD & Naturopathic MD:
You will be seen regularly at our on-site clinics by our MD’s for wellness visits.
Brain Training / Neurofeedback:
Brain Training uses non-invasive technology to monitor brain wave activities with an electroencephalograph (EEG). EEG sensors are placed on the ears and scalp of the client during an interview process. The Brain Training technicians then use your brain wave information to create a Feedback Training plan. The Feedback Training Plan acts as a type of exercise regime for the brain and provides clients with the same benefits that hours in the gym provide to muscle groups. After regular brain training sessions, you will see improved cognitive flexibility, increased intellectual functioning, and better emotional control. Brain Training can help to relieve the urges that fuel addictions in as little as 2 sessions. Brain Training has been particularly effective in the following areas:
